    Dear Richard and Mathilda,

Sending you all our love in this difficult time. You are testament to the wonderful soul dad was – embodying the ethics, loyalty and integrity he’s instilled in you. Thank you for sharing his stories of a man who worked hard and embraced life and laughter. We are so grateful to have known him through yourselves, and his legacy will always live on because of you.

  3. Kym Wallis says:

    Dear Uncle Doug,
Your were the big brother that my Mum looked up to and adored!
You led such a full and wonderful life and had such a beautiful family with Aunty Lesley.
Some of my most favourite memories growing up were of spending time at the family home in Box Hill.
Alzheimer’s may have cruelly robbed you of your last few years, but you will be forever loved and missed, and held in our hearts for all time!
    Rest in Peace Uncle Doug!
    Love Kym
