Goodbye Dad.
Your support, advice (often given sometimes taken),
patience, kindness and everything about you will be deeply missed.
Our world has been turned upside down with an emptiness that will never be filled.
Thankyou dad for a lifetime of memories we will keep and cherish in our hearts.
All our love Julie and Lynn
Grandad you have left a void I didn’t know I would ever have,
you were always there for me and I’ll never forget the lessons learnt in life and in golf,
the holidays and all of the simple things that we sometimes take for granted.
Our family will cherish the small things forever.
See you soon,
Corey, Louisa, Archie, Ivy and Leo
Grandad, our hearts are broken.

Love you forever Denika, Daniel, Beau and Zak
Loved and adored father of Vicki, loved grandfather of Zena and Machial,
loved grandfather in-law of Ainslea and loved great grandfather of Jordan and Noah.
Dad, where do I start and how do I encapsulate everything you are and meant to me?
My rock, mentor, confidante, hero and calm in the storms of life.
I never heard you with a raised voice or angry word. Your support unwavering.
From horses to horsepower we shared so much throughout our lives.
You were there when I came into this world and I am grateful I was with you as you left.
My heart is broken but my memories are strong. Vicki
Grandad - you always knew when something wasn't right, and exactly what to say.
I'll always remember our road trips with you forever telling me to "drop the gear here love",
"just hug that corner a bit more", and the best one "you can go a bit quicker round here love".
You did life at 100 miles an hour and I loved every minute I shared with you.
As you said to me.... "if I never met you, I wouldn't like you. If I didn't like you, I wouldn't love you.
If I didn't love you, I wouldn't miss you. But I did, I do, and I will" Zena
Whether it was teaching me how to ride my first motorbike,
shooting my first gun or teaching me the art of steering as a 9 year old boy,
you were luckily the father figure I was fortunate enough to have.
You helped guide me along throughout some very important years
of my life and I know I wouldn't be the man I am today without all of
your guidance, help and support. Thank you for being you.
Until we meet again,
ALL THE BEST! CHEERIO.
Love forever.
Legends race on...
Machial

Grandad, you and Nan have always been the example I had growing up, in your marriage, that meant a lot to me over the years.
I remember at your 50th wedding anniversary you meeting Daniel and saying to him you thought I would never settle down.
You were happy to know I married a piano player, who shared a love for piano.
It was a joy to Ethan, Wesley and myself to visit you and Nan 3 years ago and the boys had the opportunity to play piano for you both and you showed them how to play pool.
We appreciated sharing in those times with you.
Love Megan & family

Our condolences to all the family.
Frank came to the Goulburn Valley Motor Vehicle Drivers’ Club as a guest speaker and held the club members in the palm of his hand. You could have heard a pin drop until question time and then he was inundated with everybody asking questions at the same time.
Frank was well liked by many and a mine of information and will be sadly missed.
R.I.P. Frank.
– Barb & Denis Burr.
To Zena, Susan, Julie and Vicki and families,
So sorry to hear of your loss.
I know there have been many years since we’ve been in touch but I have kept our friendship always close to my heart.
Frank was a wonderful man, and your marriage was an inspiration to many Zena, including myself.
It sounds as though you have had some very happy years with all the grandchildren and great grandchildren!
I still remember the races at Winton and the water skiing on the lakes near Kerang.
Frank was a true champion on the race track and in life.
I am sorry to hear that he has left us but I am sure you will be comforted by the wonderful memories you have of so many happy years together.
Love Marion
To Julie, Sue, Vicki and families, your dad was something special, such a kind true talented gentleman, I learnt so much stuff from Frank in my younger years, I used to be self conscious of hanging around the work shop on Saturdays but Frank always made you feel welcome, a couple of things that still make me smile, one was I was intrigued looking at the caravan in the work shop and they were fitting wider wheels, radial tyres and shockers to the van, Franks reply was “it didn’t handle very well at 100 mph”, I was blown away, Frank then had the 327 monaro and was getting ready to take Zena and the girls to Queensland for holidays, he knew exactly how much fuel the monaro was using at that speed and where the fuel stops were, from memory the monaro had a 27 gallon fuel tank, he said if I can stay out of the secondarys (4 barrel carby) we can sneak along at a 100 mph, another was he took me for a drive one night in a BMW, very casually explaining to me about what the car would do with a bit more throttle or a bit less as we were sliding around the big sweepers at somewhere around 180 k, (no wonder I’m such a petrol head) lots and lots of information on cars, drivers, do’s and dont’s, racing etc, the knowledge and experience and friendship from a lovely bloke will stay with me forever.
Sadly missed. Ron Saul.
RIP dear long-time family friend, ever since the 1960 ‘500’, my father was so proud to have worked
with you for that historic win, and I have been proud to call you a friend ever since too.

It’s hard to come up with the words for Frank Coad but two words sums it up….Mallee Rally!!
Frank was a true gentleman – kind, knowing, humble but most of all ‘genuine’.
You knew it was the week before the June Queens Birthday long weekend as you were guaranteed a phone call from Frank.
How many entries, how’s the track, etc but would then go on to ask about all of the families, naming our family members, those he had met as well as our kids that he probably hadn’t! Sea Lake always had a place in Frank’s heart as did Sea Lake for him.
If there was anything happening, you would hear from Frank.
Always on for a lovely chat.
The Mallee Rally always has & always will be Frank’s race – we have just had the honour of guardianship.
One day we hope to properly honour you.
The legend that is the Mallee Rally is also the legend that is Frank Coad.
R.I.P. Frank.
Sincere condolences to Zena & families.
An amazing Uncle who was always so humble about what he achieved in his lifetime. Also a wonderful friend to our family, always interested in what every one of us was doing…. We will miss our regular phone chats greatly. Glenis and Gary, Katie, Andrew, Mitch and Amy, Tracey, Dean and Jed
