Mervyn passed away at Castlemaine Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 9th November.
Dearly loved son of Clara (Doll) and James Ramsey (both dec) of Clydesdale. Loved brother of Joan and brother in law of Ralph.
Beloved son and brother.
Father of Michael (dec), Stephen and Mark, father in law to Renee and Chantelle.
Grandfather to Indiana, Bodhi, Scarlett and Paige.
Will be sadly missed.
Dad, words can’t explain how devastated I am now that you have gone, but also relieved that you’re not suffering anymore.
Now you can take Rocky and Macey for a walk, take Michael fishing, have a beer with Dom and Macca,
check on the bees with Bob and show Elvis how to dance.
Pain free, looking down on me from above, still making sure things are done your way, the proper way.
Don’t worry about your girls, I’ll look after them and tell stories about how great of a father and pop you were.
I hope you swung by Graceland on your way home like you said. Until I see you again.

Dad / Pop
With tears we saw you suffer Dad, we watched you fade away,
our hearts were slowly breaking, as you fought so hard to stay.
You did not want to leave us, but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
We were so very lucky to have such a wonderful, caring, hardworking and loving Dad and Pop to spend our lives with.
Rest in peace Dad, we love you.
Mark, Chantelle, Scarlett and Paige.
Loved and loving brother of Joan, brother in law of Ralph, Uncle of Andrew, Anne, Adrian and their families.
An honest, hardworking man, loyal friend, a caring and supportive family man.
Missing our nightly phone calls already. Goodnight little brother, talk to you tomorrow mate.
To live on in the hearts of those who love you, is not to die but to live forever.
Former husband of Hilda. Much loved father of Michael (dec), Stephen and Renee, Mark and Chantelle.
Loved Pop of Indiana, Bodhi, Scarlett and Paige.
Reunited with your son Michael.
Sadly missed by all who knew him, especially doing your Elvis impersonations.
Thanks for the good times Mervyn.

I knew Mervyn for over 40 years. In my early he helped me settle into the community.
Always had time to chat and see how the family was going.
The conversations were always enjoyable because we talked about everyday stuff and not gossip.
Later on he talked about his boys and what they were up to, there always a smile when he talked about them.
I will remember him as the bloke that stopped for me and a bloke I always stopped for.
Go in peace and pain free Mervyn.
