Ian passed away peacefully at Castlemaine Hospital on 15th January 2022 aged 61 years.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter Aimee.
A quiet gathering for family and friends of Ian will be held in the Chapel of Mount Alexander Funerals,
12 Campbell Street, Castlemaine
on Friday 21st January at 1.00pm.
A private cremation will follow.

My name is Lawrence, many of you may not know me, I’ve known Ian for almost 30 years, we became close friends over this time.
My own personal experience with Ian… he came across as a very loving father to his beautiful daughter Aimee, he loved his little girl.
Ian was a good hearted person towards everyone, willing to help anyone how needed it.
I loved the big guy,it is very sad that he has passed away.
I personally will miss him very much.

I got to know Ian from a facebook group I created called the scammer mafia. It exposes scammers and scams, something Ian liked doing also. Although I only knew him via texts and chats, I believe we became friends. I would like to think the few hours we communicated might have helped him forget the constant pain he was in. I know he is in a much better place pain free. RIP old friend. I will miss the intellectual conversations we had. I will treasure those memories.
