Our dear dad passed peacefully in our arms on Saturday 19th March.
He lived life to the fullest with love for his family,
married 58 years to his much loved wife Norma (dec).
Will be so missed by children
Trudi, Tony and Sonya,
with his 6 broken hearted grandchildren
Bryce, Jarryd, Luke, Karlee, Hayley and Demi.
Reunited with his forever soulmate.
A service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held in the Barkers Creek Cricket Clubrooms
on Friday 25th March commencing at 10.00am.
Following this service, a private burial will be held by Doug’s family at the Harcourt Cemetery,
after which they will return to the clubrooms and join you for light refreshments.
If you wish to join us at the service via livestream,
please return to the home page of this website and click on the livestream button.
The service will be live approximately 5-10 minutes prior to commencing.
The internet connection is sometimes poor at Barkers Creek, so there may be a problem with the live-streaming,
however Doug's service will be recorded and placed here on his tribute page around 2-3 days after his service.

Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time
Our love and thoughts are with you at this time.
Great memories of Christmas’ past, spent together and holidays since.
Doug was always the great larrikin with a joke or story to entertain the masses.
Today we raise a glass in honour of a man who will always be in our thoughts and give thanks that he has joined his loved ones.
Love always Robin, Jan and Mark, Sue and Rhys, Greg and Ruby. xxx
Dear Uncle Doug and Aunty Norma. Together again. Love and condolences to all the family and friends. Best cousin growing up with Dad, Laurie – like brothers.
Getting into all sorts of mischief at Barkers Creek as boys. Fond memories for Dad and Mum, Pat of a wonderful bloke. Sadly missed.
