I met Donald visiting Thompson house with my Shelties, before Covid and we hadn’t been back too long since Covid lockdowns were lifted.
Donald was a gentleman and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.
With love from Amanda “Amy and Tansy”

  2. Jan Steven says:

My brother Don and I shared many happy memories of family gatherings and visits to Sydney over the years. Memories which I will always treasure.
He will be sadly missed by those who knew him and is very fondly remembered by all our family.
    With love from Jan Steven

  3. Siobhan Steven says:

Don was a kind, wise, funny, intelligent man.
Jimi, Corey and I were fortunate to have you in our lives.
We will always remember you with great fondness.
    – Siobhan

  4. Sally Bone says:

Fondly remembering my eldest brother Don.
Always a cheerful soul – the clown of the family.
With us all living in different parts of Australia and New Zealand for more than 50 years there haven’t been too many get – togethers.
In 1972 Don and Lyn brought their 4 children to WA and camped in the backyard of our newly completed house. In 2010 we siblings reunited for our other brother Terry and his wife’s Golden wedding in New Plymouth NZ plus a few other birthdays, Christmas’s over the years.
Special memories of 2014 when we gathered here in Mandurah WA and celebrated my 70th birthday.
The last time I saw Don.
Condolences to Lyn and his lovely daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    – Sally

  5. Lynette Steven says:

I met Don when I was 16 and he a few months over 18. We were both riding bikes to work, Florist girl and Chemist apprentice.
He was waiting for me to come up the road and I desperately didn’t want him to see such a windblown mess.
We were married in 1956, promising to love, honour and all that, till death did us part. So that’s what we did for almost 66 years.
Through wonderful times to the most tragic we lived, loved, cried and fought. We were blessed with 4 healthy children.
I miss Don terribly because he was always there and now he isn’t. XX
