  1. George Milford says:

Jan had the wonderful ability to capture the essence of an entire environment in a few brush strokes.
Jan’s series of paintings on the Cascades at Metcalfe first made me aware of her great talent…
Deepest sympathy to Dick on your great loss.
Together you have been an example of sustained devotion ‘in sickness and health, for better or worse’.

  2. Nettie Hulme says:

Fond memories of when we were neighbours of afternoons with Jan discussing life, the universe and everything – and the essential place of art expression in spirituality.
She is ever present with many of her artworks gracing our walls over the years – The Rill – Cascades now with us here in NW Tas.
Vale Jan – you brave, intelligent & strong woman – you were my mentor thru your art and I often think of you when I pick up a paint brush.
Love to you Dick from me, Fran & Lizzie xxx
