I didn’t know Irene personally & only had interactions through Social media over a number of years.
It was evident Irene was decent, had principles, didn’t suffer fools, believed in democracy and I admired her grit & honesty.
So pleased she set up the fbook page Castlemainia Have Your Say, to allow users to voice differing opinions.
I had noticed Irene hadn’t been online much and was very sorry to hear of Irene’s passing.
Deepest sympathy to Irene’s family, my thoughts are with you.
Irene,
From a co-worker at the old Commonwealth Employment Service, you were a pleasure to work with, and you made the day much more interesting.
So sorry I couldn’t catch up over the Covid era.
