Eldest son of Professor Ian and Muriel Maxwell, beloved husband to Joan (nee Allen, dec), loving father to Alastair (dec), Ian (dec) and Roland,

 loving father-in-law to Gabby.   Adoring grandfather to Sarojini, Yolanda, Eve, Galen, Yannick and Barnaby; 

and devoted Uncle to his Gill, Smyth, and Maxwell nieces and nephews, and his extended Brennan family and, of course, Hester and Lindis.
Miles died peacefully, with his son Roland at his side.

Musician, teacher, philosopher, sailor, he will be much mourned by family, friends, students, congregation and carers.

A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Miles will be held in Wesley Uniting Church, 100 Yarra Street, Geelong

on Tuesday 24th March at 11:00am.

Following the service, there will be refreshments served in the Church hall.
