My dearest friend..wow…I was so looking forward to our catch up but sadly you left earth-side before we had the chance.
You were an incredible woman Cath, I loved calling you a friend.
You never said a bad word about anyone and always saw the positive in others.
We shared a love of fashion, beauty and life and giggled like teens at times about some of the so called trends.
Rest well my dear friend, you deserve it.

Dear Kellie, Kristy, Pru & Matt,
Our hearts are broken for you all.
Your beautiful Mumma touched my life in a big way during my younger years when I spent half my life in the Maxwell Street house with Kristy.
I have many fond memories of sitting in the downstairs lounge with Cath, pondering over life in deep conversation.
She always made me feel so welcome in her home, she oozed warmness & kindness.
Every time I saw her, she embraced me with a huge hug & always had a lovely positive comment to say.
I can’t imagine how you all must be feeling as I am in disbelief that this has happened. The only thing I do find comfort in, is knowing she is reunited with her darling Danny & Fa.
Our love, thoughts & deepest sympathies are with you all.
Sending hugs.

I will truly miss you Cath.
My desk buddy and work mum.
Always yelling at me to get my knee fixed and listening to my endless whinging!
I will miss you trying to force feed me half your lunch and making me laugh at your hatred of technology.
The world is a little less bright without your smiling face.
Nicole Thacker
What a kind and caring soul, you were…a delight to have known and worked with.
Rest peacefully Cath.

Cath, your lovely smile and warm nature will be dearly missed.
You touched so many with your kindness and everyone who knew you feels so privileged.

Dear Aunty Cathy
The protection and and love you had for us was unbreakable. Your open door policy made your home an oasis for me all through the years, watching star trek back-to-back was the best on a rainy day or eating a buffet of seafood out the back on a sunny day! It was a honour to have you as a second mum. You had the best christmas at your place! Lollies hanging from the roof, and trains circling around the snowy christmas tree. They are what childhood dreams are made of!
I can’t believe you’re gone. I feel I could just rock up to your home tomorrow. It’s so hard and will be hard going forward, you cannot be replaced and I miss you so much.
Love Claire
Dear Kel, Kristy, Pru, Matt & all the family,
My deepest condolences to you all on the passing of Cathy. It feels like yesterday talking to Cathy over coffee and her life advice to Kristy & I as young mums & so many memories in the Ellis family home, the music, the dancing, the love & the support.
Thinking of you all, Batch, Tèa and Bae xx
To our dear friends Kel, Kristy, Pru and Matt and families,
we are so sorry to hear the passing of your beautiful mum.
Like so many others I’m sure, many memories flood our minds with days from our younger years.
Always allowing her home to be a safe space for so many.
Thoughts and strength to you all,
sincerely the Sparkes crew x

Cathy,
So beautiful. Right up to the last time I saw her she would still introduce me by saying “This is Tiesh- Kel’s crazy friend”
Kellie, Kristy, Prudy & Matt – I’m sending you all love and strength. Forever in my heart.
Tiesh xxx
Dear Cath. We were miles apart and I barely knew you as an adult. We met with Marylou and Gregor in a cute wine bar in Pyrmont about a year ago. It was a blessing to have reconnected after so long. I found you so warm and loving. An important thread in our family tapestry. Love our childhood memories and our special parents.
Kathie Jenny and Josie Lewis.
My dear Aunty Cathy,
Your gentle soul and kind heart are something I will cherish and remember always.
I have the best childhood memories of staying at your house in Bendigo.
Everyone would turn up and you’d make sure everyone was taken care of. You were so generous and welcoming.
Your home so warm and inviting.
I will miss you always. xoxoxo
Love from your niece, Prudence xx
To all the Davies family.
What a shock to hear of this very sad news.
As the oldest of this generation of family and because of distance, I missed the opportunity to know Cathy as an adult.
However, having read all the beautiful tributes to this amazing lady it has given me some insight into how much she was loved by all.
I will be with you all on the 20th when Cathy is laid to rest and you all can celebrate her life.
Your loving cousin, Kathie
Dear Cathy,
unfortunately we’ve only met a handful of times when we came over from our place far, far away.
Seeing the effect that your passing has overseas is a testament to how memorable your life has been and it saddens us that you won’t be there the next time. Rest peacefully.
Stijn
Cath,
Your heart and smile alway lit up a room.
You could practically hear your joy in your messages.
It has been an honour to have met you, to work with you and hear your stories.
To one heck of a woman, rest easy.

I was deeply saddened to hear of your passing, I will miss our conversations and laughs, about getting older!
You never said a bad word about anyone and always so pleasant to talk to, and loved chatting about our grandbabies.
Rest in peace beautiful lady.
My deepest sympathy to Cath’s family, just know how much we all loved her.

Cath,
You were one of the most kindest souls that I’d ever met.. with never had a bad word to say about anyone.
After working alongside you for so long, I’d like to think that some of that positivity rubbed off on all of us.
Our workplace won’t be the same without you.
Rest easy.
Caleb.
Cath… thank you for always being such a kind and beautiful person.
