So many lovely memories of Edward!
Such great fun sharing our beautiful cars in a wedding with him & Douglas. Then the fun at Peelers orchards shop!
Condolences to his family and friends, such a lovely fun loving gentleman.

Dear Edward!
More loved than he imagined. More missed than he expected.
We have so many happy, funny, endearing and joyful memories of a man with impeccable taste, enviable style and the most amazing touch for his glorious garden.
Those roses! All 340 or so of them. He tended those beds with such dedication and care.
He was a good man. A generous man.
A man who always smelled of exotic fragrances, rivalling any French Parfumerie and always quick to pass on his opinion.
We loved him fondly and will miss him greatly.
We are just grateful that his suffering is over. He was our Ëdwas.
May he rest in peace, reunited with Douglas at last.
– Marta, John, Lauren and Michael Dettmer

Dear Uncle Edward,
Thank you for being the most amazing uncle I could ask for ~ I will miss our conversations and not being able to call you for gardening advice.
We had many laughs together and share so many similarities.
The world has lost a truly beautiful man, who enriched so many lives.
I hope you’ve managed to find Uncle Doug.
I love you so much and miss you already ~
Rest in Peace xx
My cousin Edward, thank you for the laughter and fun times we shared together.
Power to you, for being able to bring the Gollings’ family together.
The offspring of Jack, Tom, Gwen and Alan have finally connected because of our love and respect for you. Rest In Peace, at last, reunited with Doug, the love of your life. – You are missed

Dear Cousin Edward. You taught me to always try to see the funny side of life. I will miss your wicked sense of humour, our ambling in your garden, your gifts of plants that needed a new home that you lovingly prepared for me, our trips to the second hand shops, our lunches but most of all the chats and laughter that we shared.
These memories I will always hold dear to my heart.
Love you always, Fiona.
Our Dear Edward
