George passed away peacefully on 29th June 2025 aged 74 years.

He will be sadly missed by his loving children Chris, Matthew, Paul, Nathan, their partners and his 10 grandchildren.

Remembered always

 

Family and friends are invited to attend George's funeral service, to be held in the Newstead Community Centre on Wednesday 9th July at 11.00am.
Following this service the cortege will leave for the Newstead Cemetery.

The service will be live approximately 5 - 10 minutes prior to commencing.

    In loving memory of George, thank you for “poaching” my sons Lionel and David to the South Bendigo Junior Football Club, you said you could see potential in Lionel as a junior footballer and that you would make sure that we would be made welcome among your South Bendigo “family”, you certainly did George and we enjoyed many years there. You were always patient, kind and caring to not only us but the whole club as a whole. Thank you for all the memories George, our deepest heartfelt condolences to Chris, Matt, Paul and Nathan and families.
