  1. Joe Posterino says:

Our deepest sympathy to you Gloria and Kevin’s extended family.
He will be sadly missed with his infectious smile and bubbly personality.
Although Kevin was some years older than me when I arrived at the CTO in 1967, we developed a strong connection during my time as a telegraphist.
We even shared a Lotto syndicate for many years and managed to to get 5 numbers which paid a paltry $300.
I can still hear his voice selling raffle tickets every week for our end of year API Picnic.
Kevin was very popular and will be missed by all.
Condolences from Joe and Trish (chicken woman) Posterino 😭💕

  2. GEORGE PEAKE says:

Our sincere sympathy to you Gloria, and to Dudley’s family.
We have fond memories of the early days, sharing houses in Hawthorn and later in Herbert St, Albert Park.
We lost contact when I left the public service and went into business, but was delighted to reconnect through your friendship with Hildegard and Werner.
Kevin was a great friend who spent time at our farm in Chiltern and generally having a great time.
He, and his infectious laugh, will be missed by so many!.
Take care, love from Pam, George and Hildegard.

  3. Noel robinson says:

I have been in contact with Kev regularly.
Kevin was extremely admired by his almost 400 workmates.
We are all devastated with the news of his passing.
Kev we will miss your friendship with your unique laugh you stories about the old days.

  6. Gerry says:

What can I say about Kevin ‘Giggles’ Humphris, other than to say he was a loved, entertaining large than life character,
and cherished member of the Telegraph family.
As others have said, I was shocked and sad to hear of Kevin’s passing.
I have fond memories of Kevin as he has left a lasting impression on me!
    JACKO Kev.

  8. Andy McCann says:

Kevin, or Pud (as he was known), and the Humphris family, were a big part of my early childhood living in Crowlands Road.
As a teenager, Pud worked for my father after school on our poultry farm and baby-sat us kids.
He was this little kid’s hero and did a lot of fun things with us, like squirting us while he milked the family cow.
To you Gloria, it was great to meet you and to spend time with you both when Kevin made contact recently after all those years, and my condolences to you and to those who were close to him. Such a warm, fun and friendly bloke …. I think “Pud”, “Giggles” and “Uncle Shags” says it all!
    Andy McCann

  9. Kevin Rickard says:

and caring compassion will be sadly missed.
