Great memories of Linton and his mischievous grin.

Just noted sadly of Linton’s death when speaking with old BP colleagues from Queen Street.
I was a secretary at Victorian Branch to Mr Stan Mitchell and knew Linton and the group of young guys who went on to become sales representatives in Bob Egan’s regime.
They were all very excited when each was selected for an area of Victoria, and I recall Linton was delighted to be chosen for Sea Lake. Our paths never crossed again, although we did meet again at the farewell of B P House some years ago just prior to the building being sold for own your own units.. I recall Linton was interested in my telling him how I moved on from BP to become a court reporter with the Commonwealth Government.
One of my friends went on to buy a flat on the 19th floor of BP House and this unit came up for sale recently.
I felt I would like to say farewell to Linton – we often talked football re Don Williams and his friends at 191.
