Ian, You will be sadly missed by so many people. You were an great neighbour and friend to Bill and Jean, and as a fellow Collingwood supporter you shared those train journeys home from the game with Bill.Thank you for waking Bill on the odd occasion he would nod off, at the risk of missing the Castlemaine station.Thank you for being there when Bill got sick and also for Jean when she had to live alone without Bill. We saw you putting in the miles at the footy at Newstead because Angus was playing , as a volunteer, and doing the community proud. You were kind, caring and full of humour and compassion and we were lucky to know you.
Our love to Ann and Angus and all your dear friends and family in this time of sadness. love from Bill and Jean McGinty (in spirit) and Duncan and Julie, Stewart and Wallace McGinty Newstead.
Dear Anne and Angus . Wishing you so much love and support at this time. Sebastian and I are so gateful for all Ian’s contributions to the community amd his sense of humour and especially for encouraging Seb to play cricket.
