Born 13th May 1940 and passed peacefully 15th November 2024.
Much loved and loving partner of Norma Lynch and lovely friend to Janine.
A true gentleman with a ready smile and a twinkle in his eye.
A man of many talents: truck mechanic, wood turner, ballroom dance teacher,
poultry judge and breeder.
A life well lived.
Remembered with the greatest affection and now dancing with the stars.
Please join us to farewell Merv, in the Chapel of Mount Alexander Funerals, 12 Campbell Street, Castlemaine
on Thursday 28th November at 1.30pm.
Following this service we will stay at the chapel for light refreshments before leaving for a burial service at the Chewton Cemetery.

Thank you Merv for all your support and help regarding all things mechanical and the many hours sitting by the fire yarning about “the good old days”.

Thank Merv for the great times we had.
Your knowledge of ballroom dancing techniques will stay with me as I keep dancing.
Your kindness to Norma was a pleasure to watch.
I may not have seen you in the end but you were never far from my thoughts.
Rest gently.
