    Our dear Noah,
We will miss your smiles and how excited you got when the candles on the cakes came by and knowing that cake time was soon!
Your courage and strength over the years was inspirational. Rest in Peace surrounded by our loved ones already in heaven.

All our love and strength to Lauren today and always, on Noah’s passing.
Love to you Jesse always the best big brother Noah could have ever had.

  2. Luke Johnson says:

I first met Noah in 2017, and from then on he’s always had a place in my heart.
Being close with Lauren all these years gave me the chance to share some special moments with him.
He had a light all his own — full of courage, determination, and that cheeky spark when something made him happy. Noah was brave, full of spirit, and carried more strength than most people will ever know. His smile and love of life touched everyone around him.
To my best friend Lauren, to Jesse, and to all the family — my love and strength are with you. Noah will always be remembered, always loved, and never forgotten.

    Luke

  3. Karly says:

Sorry I can not go to it, thank you for being you and being yourself and being strong when you can be strong 💪.

He called you home too soon and you leave a big hole in your family and friends hearts that will take some time to heal.
It hurt your family and friends each day to grieve your loss and all you meant, to be lots of love to people.
Love you, lots of love to your family.
    Karly

  4. Megan Turton says:

It has been a pleasure knowing you Noah during your time at school. From your first cheeky grin as a very cute new prep to seeing the young man you were becoming, I was lucky enough to know you.
Noah your infectious smile, gentle nature and great courage and tenacity will always be remembered.
We think schools are to teach students, but we learned more from knowing you than can ever be taught within the confines of a classroom.
    You are already missed.
    Megan Turton

  6. Stephen Ling says:

Noah’s beautiful smile/grins along with his interesting finger signs ( was it 1 middle finger or 2 fingers waving😜) will be sadly missed
but remembered on the Strathfieldsaye bus.
Noah would make my day when I had to load him and his wheelchair onto the bus for his bus ride which he loved. So many fond memories.
Deepest sympathies to Lauren and the family.
    Steve Ling.

  7. Anne says:

Noah, your beautiful smile would light up the room. You touched so many lives in your short time with us.
Your memory will live on with us at BSDS.
Thank you for the laughs and smiles during late bus duty.
Reading stories and watching Mister Maker with you was always fun, a fun way to pass the time waiting for buses.
Sending love to your family and all those grieving your loss.
    Anne

  8. Brigitte Moore says:

Deepest sympathies to Noah’s family, friends and the Bendigo SDS community. I will always remember you and your cheeky laugh during our interactive sensory stories, in PLC 4. Going over the hills in the Agora whilst “Going on a Bear Hunt” was one of your favourites; and you didn’t like the Gruffalo Teeth (marbles), but you laughed along anyway. You were always happy to join us for any birthday celebrations, especially when we sang Happy Birthday. You will be very missed, Noah. You were a wonderful son, brother, student and friend. 🩵💙🩵💙🩵
    Brigitte Moore

  9. Kerri Andrew says:

Noah saying goodbye to you is so difficult.
You were such a bright little sparkle in our room and your giggle was absolutely infectious.
You were a superstar at communicating your wants and needs using your eye gaze to do so.
Throughout every day we would give you a little wriggle and jiggle to help make you more comfortable. Every time I would look up at you and get a little sigh and a huge smile, I knew that you were telling me you were now comfortable.
The huge smile on your face was the nicest thank you anyone could ever ask for and a constant reminder of why I do what I do.
May you always be the brightest shining star in the sky.
Condolences to Lauren, Jesse and family.
    Kerri Andrew

To my beautiful nephew, sweet Noah. I am completely heart broken that you are gone.
Your beautiful infectious laugh is a fond memory I hold close to my heart. I still can’t believe you are gone.
I remember my first cuddle with you as a new born and your cousins reaction.
I know you loved your uncle and cousins with your powerful loving gaze in your eyes.
My beautiful nephew I will think about you forever and always. Fly high with your new angel wings Noah.

  15. Kim K says:

Noah Kairns — the boy with the big blue eyes, funky haircuts, and the coolest hats.
Always curious, always up for trying something new.
He had his quirks. For example he had a favorite hand, one would make him laugh, and the other he wouldn’t give the time of day!
And he loved to make his voice heard!
We’d often end up in contests, seeing who could shout “AHHH” the loudest and longest, before bursting into laughter.
Earning a place in Noah’s inner circle wasn’t easy…You had to work for it.
But once you were in, his friendship was the most precious gift of all.
Knowing you has been a true joy, Noah.
I’ll carry your memories with me always, sweet boy.
    Kim K

  16. Brooke Millar says:

Noah.. you have left such an impact on all who knew and loved you.
Your humour, vocal expressions and eyes always told us so much.
I will always treasure our visits to the library and occasions that you almost had us removed for being too rowdy with chatter and laughter.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to enjoy Mr. Maker for awhile, but it will always remind me of you.
I learnt what you wanted by the way you’d sigh and through your body language.
Thank you for teaching me how to communicate with you.
Rest peacefully my beautiful gentle and caring friend.
Deepest condolences to Lauren, Jesse and everyone touched by the sadness of Noah’s passing.
    Brooke Millar xxxxx

  22. JD says:

So saddened to hear the news of Noah.
I didn’t know this boy personally but I wanted to show that I cared so I went to the school and gave them two cards… one for the school and one for the family.. just because you don’t know someone doesn’t mean you can’t do something nice for them… because like I said to the staff today I might not know him but there are many that did and always will. I wanted to show the school and Noah’s mother that some stranger was thinking of them everyone needs compassion 🙏🏼

  23. Evie Monteith says:

    Dearest Noah,
You are already so missed by us all!
You were so determined – whether to have your voice heard or to bite through any spoon I gave you!
I loved your sense of humour, calling out across the classroom until I came over only to say “I don’t know” using your PODD or laughing whenever anyone made a mistake! Such a cheeky boy.
I’ll miss your smile and laugh above all else.
My condolences to all that are missing Noah xx
    Love Evie

  24. Angela Purdy says:

So many special fun times and memories singing Twinkle Twinkle little star in the early years, the wheelchair swing, captain underpants comedy with your classmates and introducing us all to Mr Maker in room 8 and you laughing at me trying to hold the eye gaze steady.
Sending my deepest condolences to Lauren, Jesse and family, sending love from Angela Purdy.

  25. Jo McCloud says:

    Beautiful Noah,
I looked forward to our late bus duty catch up’s, and seeing you go up on the hoist with Steve chatting away to you,
often giving your finger salute, wave, or was it the middle finger bird ??!!
I loved your beautiful gentle heart, your calm presence, gorgeous smile and twinkly blue eyes which conveyed so much.
In summer you always delighted me with your cool haiwan and other bright, colourful shirts. You always had a new cool haircut to surprise as well!
You have grown from a little cute prep, to a beautiful young man. Along the way you have touched many hearts and given us opportunities to learn and grow,
    and become better people.
May your family, friends and all who have been touched by your life, your time amongst us and knowing you, find strength,
comfort and peace in precious memories of your Noah.
You truly have your angel wings now,
    Namaste
    Jo McCloud

My special friend, Noah. The gorgeous young man who had the biggest blue eyes, a lovely big smile and a heart that touched everyone he met.
