My Darling Joy
I watched you suffer, I heard you sigh,
but all I could do was just stand by.
I lived in hope and wished in vain,
just to make you well again,
but you decided we must part,
I watched you go with a broken heart.
Love you forever, John xx

Love and sympathy to Joy’s family on her sad passing.
Joy was a second cousin to me and I remember her well over the many years.
She was a member of the Rasmussen family and niece to my close friend and cousin, Rosemarie.
A life well lived!
We shared a love of cruising and I loved hearing about the adventures of her and John.
– Margery Smith (Rasmussen).
Condolences to John and family.

Sending our love and condolences to John and all the Family.
We’ve shared great times with Joy and John over many years and will always treasure our friendship.
We met when we were young parents (through the Castlemaine Footy Club) and continued to see each other
over the years. In May this year we stayed in Castlemaine for a few days to spend time with Joy and John and enjoyed
our time reminiscing over the ‘good old days’ and all the fun we had. We will miss our dear friend Joy.
Much love – Helen and Derek
Oh Jock, I was so saddened to hear of Joy’s passing. We had so many laughs in our exercise program up at the hospital before COVID and were going to play up in Barham next time we were all there together. You were both so close and you will miss her so much but, you have some terrific memories to hold onto forever. Our condolences to you and your family from Ian and Mazza XX
Our thoughts are with Cindy, Daryl and family at this sad time.
