Heartfelt condolences from all the Tuohy family in Melbourne. We have fond memories of times shared with Lyons mob in Castlemaine.
A wise man with a sharp wit, he could tell marvellous tales! Had a generous welcoming and caring nature.
We celebrate his long and productive life, knowing he’ll be missed, but now with his dear Margy.
Margaret and John Smith, on behalf of Tuohy family.
On behalf of the Tobin family we offer our deepest sympathies. The friendship, support and care – along with such memorable conversations – are deeply cherished memories for all the Castlemaine Tobins. We had the privilege of spending time with, and learning from, a gentleman who was wise, thoughtful and always brought joy and energy to our house. We are endlessly grateful for the love and friendship Mr Lyons offered to our parents and our family.

The family of the late George and Kath Morgan is saddened at the news of Pat’s passing.
Pat and Margaret interacted warmly, frequently and always positively with our family from the time they arrived in Castlemaine in the 1950s.
Their presence in our home always enlivened conversation.
We loved Pat’s capacity for re-telling a good yarn, always with a twinkle in his eye.
We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Pat’s family at this time and know that they will be comforted by the great memories they have of him as a father, grandfather, great grandfather, and good friend to many.
Paul Gregory Morgan
Fondest memories Pat.
You were wise and philosophical in all our discussions.
You were patient and generous of your time.
Pat you will be sadly missed.
Patricia Lamaro, Paul Pitcher, Alicia and Gareth Williams
On behalf of the McManus Family, formerly of Barkers Creek, I extend sincere condolences to the Lyons Family. Affectionately known in our Family as ‘Power Point Pat’, he was a regular visitor to our farm where he agisted his horses. My parents, Win and George, always enjoyed his visits and would often solve the world problems over a nice cup of tea. I am grateful to Pat for having given me weekend work in his garden when I was at uni 🙏🏽
Rest In Peace good man.
Peter McManus
