  1. Amanda Turner says:

My mother had a beautiful little painting of Winter roses by Peggy, very much treasured.
I only met Peggy in the latter part of her life when visiting with Tansy🐕.
I mean it when I say she was just a beautiful lady.
Peggy was so gracious and humble for someone with such talent.
We will miss seeing her and her lovely smile🌻💐❤️

  2. Lynne Kelly says:

The word “inspiration” is the obvious tribute for Peggy.
She painted so beautifully until very late in her life.
I will miss our conversations about so many things, but particularly about watercolour.
Her gentle advice and demonstrations have been invaluable to me.
    I will miss her but the paintings I have – done at 97, 98, 99, 100, 101 and 102 will be a constant reminder.

Sympathy to Julie, who cared for Peggy so well enabling her to paint and exhibit her art. Also an inspiration.

  3. Michael Shaw says:

Dearest Nanna, you have the most beautiful soul, an amazing woman who lived an extraordinary life and had so much love and care for those around her.

I still have fond memories of visiting you when you lived on Lyttleton St, spending time in your garden which you loved so much and seeing all the amazing art works you were creating.

I am so proud to have several of your watercolour paintings hanging in our home, a timeless reminder of your talent and passion in life.

We will all miss you so much, you may be gone from this world but the love, memories and your fighting spirit will never be forgotten.

Love always from Michael, Kelly and family xoxo

What an absolute honour it was to get to know you.
You always had a cheeky smile, especially when I asked you to design a new tattoo for me.

    Condolences to Julie.
A beautiful lady, friend to my Mum for a long time and always up for a chat when we met in town.
I will cherish the painting she gifted Mum back in the 70’s.

  7. Lyn and Tony Wadley says:

We had they great pleasure of connecting with Peggy in the late 1990’s through Susan Irvine. She gave us a family tree of Peggy’s Wadley family and a link was discovered.
Since then many letters, visits to each other in Tasmania and Castlemaine have taken place.
It has been a wonderful connection.
Peggy was quite the conversationalist. I treasure the two pieces of her artwork that hang in our home.
She was generous with giving me her cards and I love giving them on special occasions.
It was great when Julie and Rob came got stay with us. Julie you have been a wonderful daughter.
Our love to all Peggy’s family.
We will treasure the memories of an inspirational woman we had the pleasure of knowing.
