Only met Peter a few times, many years ago with his nephew Mark. I still remember how welcome he made me feel, in his hostel in North Wales.
He was a friendly chap with a great sense of humour. Rest in peace Peter, or should I say Tarzan.

My deepest condolences to Sue and Peter’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. As a child I looked forward to Peter’s visits to Ireland and would sit for hours listening to tales of adventures from his travels. Then when I was an adult myself and did my own travelling, my fondest memories are of my visits to Peter and Sue in Australia. All while on my travels he checked in regularly to hear updates on my trip and offer advice. He was a true gentleman with a kind spirit, a rare gem.
RIP Peter xxx

I am so lucky to have met Peter all of those years ago in Geelong.
He was, and is, an important person in my life; always there to listen and offer advice if necessary. The way Peter lead his life is to be admired; he treated everyone equally and had an open mind and heart.
He was a quietly strong and determined individual, who stood up for what is right and defended those who needed an advocate.
Sue has been his rock throughout this awful disease, and I know that Peter thought the world of her.
Slan leat, a chara.

We give thanks for the life of dear Peter, a man of integrity, with a curiosity and a thirst to learn and understand, a compassionate man, kind and patient with others, adventurous and so at home in nature, a wise observer of life, loyal, a man with quiet strength, a fine sense of humour and good company.
Thank you for being our friend and enriching our lives, Peter, and thank you for being a wonderful, loving husband to our dear friend Sue.
Rest in peace.

Peter, I will never forget your love of a laugh even on the most difficult days.
Your face would break into such a beautiful infectious smile.
The excitement that came into your eyes when, with Sue, we walked anywhere in the bush.
You saw flowers, listened and looked for birds. You became invigorated. You fought bravely.
I will never forget how hard and fast you would through that foam ball at Sue or I.
May you Rest In Peace Peter, you lived a life full adventure, family and love.
I wish you deep peace. All my love, Anne Graham
