“Take the adventure, heed the call, now ere the irrevocable moment passes!
‘Tis but a banging of the door behind you, a blithesome step forward, and you are out of the old life and into the new!
Then some day, some day long hence, jog home here if you will, when the cup has been drained and the play has been played,
and sit down by your quiet river with a store of goodly memories for company.”
Kenneth Grahame
Phillip has been farewelled by family in a private cremation.
All are welcome to a celebration of his life at the Harcourt Bowls Club
at 2.00pm on Sunday the 1st of February 2026.

Oh Phil…you were, and will always be, my mentor.
Your incredible patience as I drafted your evidence across so many litigation matters, and your kindness in making sure I truly understood the work…
meant more than I can express.
Your intellect, your generosity, and your gentle, unwavering willingness to guide me will be so deeply missed.
Rest in peace my friend.
