Sad he has died, but privileged is how I feel to have had the infrequent and intermittent pleasure of this gentleman’s company.
Ric was a fine writer, but more importantly, he was a fine human.
I didn’t know him well, even though I knew him for along time.
But whenever our paths crossed, he was always civil, amusing and good to be around.
My sincere sympathy to all who loved him.
I learned to laugh hard, work hard and never take advertising too seriously.
Ric Hambleton was never pompous, deliberately negative and never lacked encouragement for me.
My first ever boss in advertising and a great privilege to have had him in my life.
Rest well young man.
Forever in our thoughts.

Ric great times we had what a Bonza Bloke…
Rest In Peace.
Saddened by the news. I’ll never forget times.
Vale Ric
I would have crawled over broken glass to do anything you wanted and worshipped the ground you walked on.
You were the best boss I ever worked for.
Remarkable Ric – a remarkable man who enriched and enhanced many lives.
Ric was a really delightful and charming individual. Such lovely and funny memories of working in early 90s advertising. Vale Ric.
