Dear Lisa & Martin,
I am so sad to see that Steve has died.
I remember him as the young man I knew, all those years ago.
He made the lovely hand rail which I use every day of my life, so he will always be remembered.
Love to you both,
Heather Morrison.

My most heartfelt condolences to Kaz, Clancy, Henry, Hunter, Brodie and Jude and all of Steve’s family and friends.
I first me Steve last year, after coming in as one of his carers. Steve was a very kind man with a big heart and would do anything for anyone.
He was always happy to see me, even when he wasn’t at his best, and welcomed me into his and Karen’s home on Raymond Island.
I will miss our long conversations, good natured banter and even his stubbornness.
It was an absolute honour to be Steve’s carer in the time I knew him. He will be missed.

Dearest Steve – farewell good friend. Thanks for the memories we shared camping, eating good food (especially fish and abalone); endless talks about art, music (and hi-fi with Ben) and the Hong Kong experience, thanks to Sharon. You will live on in my memory as a gifted artisan, a good humored, generous and caring guy. Big love to Janet, Henry, Clancy and Kaz and the boys. He loved you all. What a lucky fella to have such a wonderful family and friends.
I will always say hi to you and beep the horn when I drive past Golden Point.

Steve, from the days of the Screaming Carrot Cafe, and Golden Point Road it has been a joy to know you.
Clancy and Henry, seeing you two come into the heart and home of Janet and Steve, has been a pleasure and privilege for me.
In the years since with Kaz, being a dad and supporter have sustained two beautiful men.
May your stereo always be big and loud.

Vale Steve Rowe – Taken too soon from the good life on Raymond Island with Kaz. Much love to his kids and Karen’s, who all clearly flourished in his kindness.
Thank you Steve, for the love you gave my dear friend Kaz. The music will play on. x

Karen: I’ve only met Steve perhaps half a dozen times but right from the get go, I thought he was a keeper. He adored you Kaz and you have been a pillar of strength and support for him, particularly over the past twelve months. At this incredibly sad time I hope you find comfort in the love and memories that you and Steve shared.
Sending love

Steve –
The Moving Finger writes, and, having writ,
Moves on; nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Not all your Tears wash out a Word of it.
