Thank you for notifying past colleagues in Ballarat of Stuart’s passing. He was at Ballarat Base Hospital for many years and loved by those he worked with.
Always professional and respectful to everyone, plus his sense of humour was loved. I was sorry to hear of his death, please accept my condolences.
We were very sorry to hear of Stuart’s passing. A wonderful caring nurse. Loved by everyone.
Sorry to hear of Stuart’s passing, he was a great neighbour. Condolences to his family.
I remember when I was a little girl, you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. “A nurse” I said. You said “that’s all good until you need to wipe some ones bottom and the paper slips”. How right you were!!
You could tell some funny tales, and I have lots I will remember always. How my dad (Bob), got the nickname, Crow, given to him by my Pop when he was a little boy, but the funniest of all was the Dim Sim story.
I will remember you ramming your trolley into mine whenever you saw me in IGA, just to get my attention.
We would chat about family and work and when you’d chatted enough, it was a “Goodbye” and you were gone.
Your caring and dedicated nature was something to be very proud of.
You did it so naturally and selflessly all of your life, especially with family.
We are all so so grateful for that.
I am so sorry I missed saying goodbye.
The memories I keep of you, will always put a smile on my face and laughter inside my heart.

Just saw this and the memories of your teaching came flooding back.
What a talented Nurse and teacher you were.
Very fond memories indeed as a past NDSN nurse.
A real gentleman and an excellent nurse-many memories of the night shift and the leadership and support you gave us.
So sad to hear of your passing.
