So very sorry to hear about Vaughan passing away. Fond memories of spending time with ‘Vinnie’ over the years at cricket and golf. Always a character, who loved a good time with a drink from the top shelf. Deepest condolences to Laurie and all Vinnie’s family and friends.

Vaughan; what can I say… you were my best childhood friend! So many hrs spent exploring the ’wild’ and being adventurers! We were so certain we were going to find uncharted land and become famous; making wood creations in your grandpa’s shed – we had NO idea what we were doing but it was fun; so many hrs playing ‘wonder boy’ on our commodore 64’s! – even finding the cheat code so we never lost any lives so we could keep going to see what the next giants head was going to be on level 4!! I missed you so much when your family moved away – it was like 1/2 of me was gone. And when you came back we had both grown into different people – we couldn’t pick up from where we were. While it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you or spoken to you, you will forever be my childhood best friend. May you rest peacefully now, reunited with your mum. Deepest condolences to Laurie. Til we meet again. Bye Vaughan.

We had fun years ago, cycling, bush adventures, parties, even getting caught in the middle of a shoot out.
What a ball we had.
We will miss you Vaughan, you lived a good life and we got to share a piece of it.

Vaughan, the shock of losing you is still sinking in.
So many wonderful family memories we will cherish forever.
Can’t believe we were only reminiscing some of them only recently. Mate you were a blessing for your Mum and Dad, I loved looking after you when you were little and catching up as we grew up.
You were always on for a chat and in our adult years a couple of alcoholic beverages shared with lots of laughs.
Will miss you mate but feel comforted that you have been reunited with your Mum and all our Angels🦋
Condolences to Laurie and all the extended families.

To my mate,
Love you buddy. So many funny times we had together especially the time you did not get your KFC with me and Tim and your parents. And the time you made me listen to the cranberries and I loved them ❤️ always had your back and you had mine!!

Lots of love to your family.

Vaughan,
I truly hope you’re feeling the love, I’m still shocked and feeling much sadness at your passing. Castlemaine won’t be the same.
So many fantastic memories of us as young dudes at your family home on Duke Street, the base and launch pad for so many adventures and antics in the awesome rumpus room, on the Commodore 64 (or 486) or out in the bush on our mountain bikes… Great times, with great friends.
I hope you had a blast on your 43 trips around the sun, say g’day to Nola and your Nan for me, wonderful ladies.
Laurie, my thoughts are with you at this time of such loss.
Peace mate, gone too soon 🙁

The Muckleford Cricket Club express our thoughts and condolences to Laurie and family with the loss of past player, Vaughan. ‘Vaughno’ had a gift of being able to lift the mood, be it at training, the Saturday game or the post-match analysis and drink. A popular and well-liked player by all who got to know him. Vaughan was always a cheerful character who no doubt will be much missed by all.
Rest well, Vaughan.
Laurie always know you raised a wonderful man, he will always be remembered as one of the best.
Vaughan, you were such an amazing friend, you always had my back no matter what. Today as I said goodbye I shed a tear
but then I remember all the great times we had and they bring such a large smile. I shall cherish those memories in my heart forever.
Until we meet again, rest peacefully mate.
