You`ll Do
Infrequently someone comes into your life, and you just click; there is an instant warmth and appreciation for one another.
We suspect Violet had that impact on the many who were fortunate enough to meet her.
In the short time she was with us at `Thompson House`, she generated a genuine connection with all who cared for her; Violet was quick with her wit and even quicker with her words of praise.
She made us feel good about the care we were providing.
We all prayed for the smoothest release for her from this earthly journey.
Violet stoically fought to stay, announcing,” I am not ready to go yet!”
We knew the overwhelming love for her family was keeping her strong and determined to remain here; After all, we had been blessed to witness the palpable family connection between Violet and her loved ones.
Violet fought hard to stay but eventually closed her eyes, peacefully leaving aching hearts behind; we at Thompson are not immune from the pain of losing a beautiful soul like Violet.
Keep shining, Violet; we will miss your love and the words, “ YOU`LL DO” 😊
From All The Staff at Thompson House, Castlemaine Health.
Dearest Aunty Violet,
you were always there with a smile, a cheery hello and an abundance of kindness.
Your light will forever shine.
Much love. Alison, Gary and Lauren xxx
For all.
Violet lived so far away we kept in touch the old fashioned way pen and paper.
It was always a pleasure to get her letters, full of the joy of living in Australia, news about her family who she was so proud of, and her many friends and the outings they shared. The last time we spoke, Violet was in hospital and it was lovely to hear her voice especially when she sang Cushie Butterfield.
Always a Geordie at heart.
Rest in peace Violet … I will never forget you.
Love Ruth (The Bairn) XXX.
I can’t believe I will never hear you wonderful voice again.
from sister Ann and her family.
Love you always Violet … you will be an asset to Heaven.
