Wayne passed suddenly at home in Castlemaine on 26th April 2024.
Loving father of Anthony and triplets Emma, Sarah and Kathleen.
Father in law of Ann, Grandfather of Chloe, Heidi and Brayden.
Brother of Gayle, Maggie, Shorty and Daryl (dec). Wayne was a permanent resident at Don KR Castlemaine.
His pleasures were simple, his needs were few,
if his family was happy, then he was too.
Rest peacefully Dad, in some place nice, some place that’s called paradise.
Little did we know that morning, the sorrows that day would bring,
the loss was sudden, the shock severe, to part with one loved so dear.
We could not say our last farewell, or even say goodbye,
for you had gone before we knew, it has broken our hearts to lose you,
however you did not go alone, for part of us went with you.
Your memory is our greatest treasure,
to have and to hold in our hearts forever.

How to begin … what I can I say but ‘thank you’.
Thank you for being such an amazing workmate, for being true to who you were, never changing for anyone and that was one of the many traits people loved about you. You always told things as they were, never shying away from what you believed and standing up for what was right. You always had a way of expressing yourself with such passion that always drew people in when you spoke.
You me made laugh so many times with all your stories and how you told them … I miss our chats Wayno, and those little rants you used to have when things frustrated you…I would listen and by the end of it we would be laughing.
I’m so very honoured to have known you, we are gonna miss you so very much.
Love Fitzy xoxox
R.I.P. Wayne
Going to miss our chats at IGA.

What a true pleasure it was to have known and to have worked with you, but most of all to have had you as a friend.
We enjoyed many laughs over the years and I will smile fondly when I remember the good times we had.
R.I.P. Wayno … keep heaven awake on Saturday nights with your loud music.

Wayne’o!
I’m still in disbelief! How I will forever treasure our time at KR together!
Such a true blue gentlemen, taken way too soon!
From our singing and dancing, to catching you having a snooze in the chiller, to our sneaky smoke breaks catching each other out, and your late night messages telling me what’s been going on or simply saying “love you”.
I hope wherever you are, you’re still being the same cheeky, full of life man!
Rest peacefully Wayne’o!
Until we meet again 💙
