How many times have you heard someone say “When I go don’t waste your money, just put me in a cardboard box and bury me under the lemon tree” or “using that good timber to be burnt is a waste”. We’ve heard it many times!
Of recent years, Australians are becoming more aware of our environment and realise that if we don’t change the way we have done things in the past, we won’t have any natural resources for our children in the future. Research undertaken has indicated that more than 70 per cent of families class ‘being eco friendly’ as very important, with more than 90 per cent of people recycling is some way.
The time for eco friendly coffins is here!
LifeArt coffins are manufactured from some of the 1.6 million tonnes of recycled cardboard and paper generated each year in Australia. These are compressed between two printable liners to make an ultra strong, light board and are bonded with cornstarch glue.
Today, with most veneer coffins being manufactured with a large amount of synthetic glues and preservatives, we understand the importance of offering an alternative.
Ask yourself the question. How would you like to leave the planet behind for your family?
