Peter was a delight to work with, and as always added words of wisdom at the other end … with a smile. A highly personable bloke who could communicate with people of all capabilities and backgrounds without the slightest pretense or snobbery, from Government officials to first year apprentices. A man that was constantly busy ,in high demand and skilled… He especially made time and encouraged all others to get their hands dirty and use their brains, with his grandfatherly approach …Peter the great mentor and educator of the old school. Thank you peter ,I feel honoured to have known and worked with you.
We are heartbroken to hear the tragic news of Peter’s passing. “Turner” has been a mentor, inspiration and loving friend for many, many years. We will hold him in our hearts for ever more. We send our love to Virginia & all the family. Wayne (the boy) & Karen McKay
