Colin died suddenly at home on 6th July 2022 aged 52 years.
Loved youngest son of Marj Liddicoat and the late Robert Gartside, and stepson of Mick Liddicoat.
Loving brother to Wayne, Barbara, Neville, Owen, Greg, Yvonne and Leonnie.
Uncle to many and a great uncle to more.
A golden heart stopped beating,
two hands were laid to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove,
he only takes the best.
Family and friends are invited to attend Colin’s funeral service,
to be held in the Church of Christ, Blakeley Road, Castlemaine on Tuesday 19th July at 11.00am.
Colin would have preferred you to wear casual clothing rather than a suit.
Following this service the cortege will leave for the Harcourt Cemetery.
After the burial service you are warmly invited to join Col's family
for light refreshments at the Harcourt Leisure Centre
If you wish to join us at the service via livestream,
please return to the home page of this website and click on the livestream button.
The service will be live approximately 5-10 minutes prior to commencing.

To the man who is always known as grumpy Uncle Col,
You are a one of a kind Uncle, always there for us when we needed your help (even when we didn’t ask).
You were taken way too early from us..
Im sorry I never had the right beer in the fridge for you.
I’ll miss your random pop in’s (“just to annoy me” as you would always say).
You have made your mark in mine and my families hearts, and we will always love you for it.
Please enjoy all the VB’s you can as they are your choice of beer.
You will be forever in our hearts and always on our minds.
Love you Uncle Col

To Col’s family, especially his Mum …
You should be very proud of the man you raised.
He was a gentle, kind soul, who’s desire to help others endeared him to those he met.
He set a very high standard with his painting & other work he did. I enjoyed the day, climbing up high on our roof, fastening the sheets with you Col.
You were always careful & very respectful.
