Deepest sympathy to all your family.
R.I.P.
Mrs Oates was my teacher in Grade 4,1964, it was a composite grade 3 + 4 class.
I was a very sensitive, perhaps damaged child. When she pointed out to me that that I shouldn’t draw boxes around what I wrote, I got upset, she proceeded by sitting me on her knee and sang a song about little boxes made of ticky tacky…. She made me feel secure!
I will remember her lovingly till I die.
Remembered for her yodelling at our Harcourt footy
R.I.P. Deepest sympathy to Julie and Wendy and family
Rest In Peace Lyn.

RIP Mrs Oats /Allen, you were the best teacher I ever had, I was lucky enough to have you in grade three and four. You some how sensed that I was going through tough times and I was struggling, you encouraged me to be the best that I could be and I will be forever grateful for that. I will love and respect you till the day I die.
