Memories of a work colleague at Camberwell Audio Visual Education Centre.
Nola was an inspiring, creative, teacher of teachers, whose dedication and preparation was outstanding- a great asset to our Center staff.
I know that many teachers gained great expertise and knowledge from Nola, particularly photography, and that hundreds of students would benefit from their new-found skills. Nola was a friend too. Dual slide presentations at their home after Nola and Frank’s travels were a display of stunning visuals and engrossing commentary.
I gave my daughter two of Nola’s enlarged framed photographs which Deanne displays with pride – amazing rooftop scenes in yellow and black tones we believe were taken in Greece? Deanne (now in her fifties) still has her Moscow Olympic Games “Mishka” brooch, a gift to a young girl from Nola on her return from Russia.
Nola was a welcoming hostess and proud of her family.
So many memories for Family to treasure of a life well lived by a wonderful lady.
