Condolences to Olwyn and Helen on the passing of Joyce.
She was a much loved Aunt to our family from Mildura, who were often the recipients of her hospitality and kindness.
A quietly spoken gentle lady, who made everyone very welcome to her home in Bendigo and in earlier days with her late husband, our Uncle Ross.
We have very happy memories of those days.

Remember your Mum being a regular customer & always a cheerful person.

To our darling friend Joyce.
You always talked about a letter from the Queen but you didn’t quite make it and neither did she.
You have lived a rich and rewarding life of travel, seafaring and exciting voyages.
You taught me how fun you can be despite age and my Tuesday’s with you were the most fun I’ve ever had.
I miss the afternoon tea at your place before I made my way home.
I love you and thank you for your unconditional love, generosity, friendship and absolute kindness.
So honoured to have known you.
Love Troy and Aad ♥️♥️
My very dear Godmother and much loved Auntie Dawd,
What a life – nine months into your 100th year. Remarkable!
When you told me a few years ago that you wanted to live to 110, I thought that was a bit ambitious,
but I reckon you lived about 110 years worth, in your almost 100 years.
Always doing something, always going somewhere, always on the go!
Comfortable in the company of anyone, anywhere – you were one of those special people who could
connect with people quickly and make everyone feel important, valued and loved.
You were so kind, thoughtful, caring, loving and never had a bad word about anyone.
It’s said that “Good things come in small packages” – that was YOU!!
As a friend of mine said recently – “A grand old girl in personality (not so much in stature).
What a role model you have been to so many. You made the world a better place.
Thank you for your invaluable contribution to my life.
Love you forever.
Johnny xx

A scan of the Hall Family Dictionary for Joyce Murley reads: short in stature with a matchless zest for life. For nearly 50 years, your visits, calls, letters, cards and gifts have celebrated pride in our achievements, sorrow in our losses, joy in our blessings and your generous love, support and spirit.
Our love and thoughts are with Olwyn, Helen and families.
Love, your Lynnie, Bruce and David. XX
Dear great aunty Joyce. What a wonderful aunty you were to our family. We all have such fond memories or your kindness.
Love and hugs to Helen, Olwyn and families.
Pam Nicolson (Murley)
Our deepest sympathy to Olwyn and Helen, and families, on the passing of our dear little Aunty Joyce – her kind generous presence in our lives was truly appreciated,
from her beautiful cards and notes we’d receive to the “quick” phone calls just to see how we all were. What a remarkable life she lived. 🌸
Love from Elaine and Ernie, Kim, Dale and Families xxxx
Sorry we can’t be there in person but will be joining in via livestream – Elaine, Ernie, and Kim xxx
Joyce you were a remarkable woman, live life to the fullest, a Lady at all times, we loved you and we’re fortunate to share time with you. Your 90th birthday was a highlight making all those cakes, flower arrangements in antique cups and sauces, then taken off at end of the day on a Harley Davison Motor Bike at speed. You deserved the tribute and send off your families gave you, it was very special, as you were and only as you could do, add that special touch. So sad we could not be there today.
Deepest Sympathy to the families PJ and Dorothy xoxo
My dear Auntie Dawd what a privilege it has been to call you my Auntie, your loving caring nature which attracted people to you and you took us all on your life’s journey. Small in statue but with a heart so big and full of giving, I fondly recall my visits to you at Lily Street ringing your door bell and you would subsequently open the door to me with that big smile, your arms outstretched and always so loving. What you could you have done sums you up to a tee beautiful lady. Will never forget you and a place in my heart you will always have. Rest easy now Auntie Dawd with your loving Ross.
Greg.
Deepest sympathy Helen, Peter and family on the passing of Joyce, we have very fond memories of such a beautiful lady.
