  5. Marcie G says:

    I met Dot at Arcare.
I was the maintenance officer there this year.
I will never forget meeting Dot for the first time. Huge smile, bright eyes and always bright coloured socks.
The highlight of my day was to assist her getting to and from breakfast. There was ”something” about Dot.
We became friends and I would prioritise her maintenance needs every single time.
I told her once, that I should not say it to her cause I’d get I trouble, but the she was “my favourite” resident.
Sadly I had to leave Arcare without saying goodbye to Dot – I missed her smile.
I was saddened when she passed, but I’m so overjoyed that we believed in the same Redeemer, Jesus Christ, even though we never shared that fact.
Thank you Dot for the intensity of the light of HIS love that shone through you, to so many.
See you later dear Dot. 🌿🌿🕊️the memory of you will further brighten my life.
    Marcie G

  6. Jan & John Jenkin says:

Dearly loved Aunty Dot to John & Janice (Jan) A special Great Aunty of Narelle, Kathryn & Mark Goodall, David & Bronwyn & the next generation Cooper, Hannah & Lachlan Goodall.
Dot loved her nieces & nephews as “her family”, was always ready to enjoy a party, had an inquisitive & sharp mind adnwas interested in all her nieces & nephews lives.
She was always thankful for care given to her & as was well known for those fancy socks which created many a great talking point.
We will miss our Sunday afternoons visiting Dot & the Jenkin Christmas get together won’t be quite the same.
    Jan & John
