(Macca) from Korweinguboora
Died peacefully, aged 91 years.
Beloved husband of Monica for 62 years.
Much loved father of Dennis and Colleen and friend of Robyn.
Adored Grampy to Zoe, Anna, Tom and Maiya.
Son of Maude and Thomas Percival,
loved and loving brother of Annie, Jack, Doreen, Dick and Thomas (all deceased).
Special thanks to Strath-Haven for their care of Arthur.
“And the bush hath friends to meet him, and their kindly voices greet him,
In the murmur of the breezes and the river on its bars,
And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended,
And at night the wondrous glory of the everlasting stars” (A.B. “Banjo” Paterson)
An old bushman gone home.
Grampy, we will miss your poetry recitals, our funny and deep conversations,
doing crosswords, quizzes and art with you and pottering with you in the garden, shed and bush.
Memories are ours to keep.
Love Dennis, Robyn, Zoe and Maisy.
Beloved father to Colleen and Grampy to Anna and Tom.
You gave us so many treasured memories and such a great love and respect of the bush.
We will celebrate his life with a beer or two.
Forever in our hearts
