Alison died peacefully in Castlemaine on 11th March 2026.

Alison was greatly loved and respected as a partner, colleague and friend. As a lawyer she was highly regarded in her field.

In her second life in artisan cheese, on the board of the Port Fairy Spring Festival, and supporting farmers’ markets, she earned the admiration and affection of all who worked with her.

She will be greatly missed by her husband David, her family, and by the many people who knew her.  


In keeping with Alison’s wishes, her body has been donated to the University of Technology Sydney, for medical research.
