Dearly loved Auntie Alma of Phil, Sue and their children, Mandy and Rod, Scott, Kathy and Pete, Nathaniel and Lisa, Jeremy and Steph, Cameron, Kassie and their families.
We will miss the catchups around the kitchen bench with that ever welcoming cuppa and biscuit. Her love for her husband, Uncle Dave and her family and we, her extended family will live on in our memories. Missed will be the Chaplin goings on each Christmas which kept us all up to date.
Reunited with Dave. Our deepest sympathy to Joyce, Trev, Les and their families on this sad loss.
May we all rest in the knowledge that Alma is at peace with Dave.

Many happy times shared in earlier days with the whole family.

Not sure what I can say about Alma and the Chaplin family. The memories of those years growing up on weekends and holidays on the farm next door at Harcourt North.
Rob, Trev and Les together with my brothers (Tony and David) and I running amok, playing games, biking, tadpoling, rabbiting and always running in to the Chaplin kitchen because Alma would somehow have a huge amount of the most delicious baking plus sandwiches ready for us.
Alma was a kind and generous soul to us and treated us like her own family. She and Dave were also fabulous friends to our mum and dad whilst Annie and Joyce were very tight friends and still are even though it might be years between visits.
Rest easy Alma. A very good life lived.

Memories of a gracious and generous spirit who supported us at Kennington UC (then Bendigo East Parish) when we held our Fundraising Markets.
We enjoyed selling the ‘Chaplin Apples’.
Deepest sympathy to Joyce and all the family, what cherished memories you must have from a Mum who lived to be 95.
Jan Fry
Deepest sympathy to the extended Chaplin family on the loss of a great and kind lady. I and my late wife Helena only met Dave and Alma around 12 years ago but we became instant friends. However the link goes back much further. Dave’s mother and mine (Jean, nee Ely) went to school together many years ago, and as a child I often heard about the Bertuch, Chaplin and Ellery families. I remember with pleasure many heart-to-heart talks with Dave and Alma, and I am so glad I caught up with Alma last December.
As usual she greeted me with warmth and kindness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
Peter Flinn, Dunkeld.
A wonderful, warm hearted, supportive and generous person to all with whom she came in contact.
She will be sadly missed by so many.
