  1. Peter Moloney says:

Eddie you were a larger than life character to the very end.
Still had that fantastic sense of humor when I saw you about 2 weeks ago at Newstead.
    You will be missed.
    Thinking of your family.

  2. Damian dickson says:

Damian and Kieran Dickson have fond memories of Eddy and our time making music with him in the band, ‘Limeburners Boot’. But at the same time, sadness at his passing. He was integral in our involvement in playing Australian Music and we will be forever grateful for that.
    R.I.P. Eddy.
    Cheers Mate.

  3. Bill Forrest says:

My introduction to “serious” Australian folk music came via Eddie, with the first Limeburners Boot outing being at Malden Folk Festival in1978. As someone else commented he was a damn fine lagerphone player, raconteur, and whilst not the greatest voice, it certainly had a fit for purpose character to it. When offered the opportunity to do a workshop about sheep shearing at Geelong Folk Festival, recorded by the ABC, Eddie was incredibly diligent in his research and preparation. I think some of this was passed on to Andrew. A larger than life character, thanks for the great memories Eddie.
