Gloria passed away peacefully at Strath-Haven surrounded by family, on 19th June 2024 aged 93 years.

Loved wife of Roy (dec).

Dearly loved mother of Dianne, Pam, Gayle, Colin and Rodney,

We all just want our dear Mum back

But Time's a thief and won’t grant us that.

So God sent Angels, full of Grace

To touch your withered hands and gentle face

Rest now Mum, in the good Lord's arms

And we’ll keep your loving smile forever in our hearts..

Gloria is remembered by our family as a kind and gentle lady, someone that dressed in style, and someone who treated all that she came in contact with respect.
She was an enormous contributor to her community, and in our case, particularly the Newbridge Football Netball Club.
She indeed will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Our most sincere sympathies are extended to all the family.

  6. Kim Hansford says:

I have just heard the sad news of Gloria’s passing.
I am thinking of you all knowing only time will help the pain of losing your dear Mum.
I have only the best memories of Gloria… always so kind and gentle with the best sense of humour. I always appreciated her quiet words of wisdom when I came to her with my worries.
It is comforting to picture her together again with her Roy, they will now both be the family’s guiding light.
