To the Family of Peter Anderson
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Peter was a truly an inspirational person and his incredible engineering ability is something I will always remember.
I was lucky enough to work for and with Peter in the 1980’s at the John Holland Construction Group in St Kilda Road.
As Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Company he taught me many things, both technical and about life. His love of classical music also broadened my horizons. Everyone who encountered Peter at work and in other settings couldn’t help but be impressed with his approach to life. He often told me stories of his upbringing and exploits. This left an enormous impression on me and others he interacted with. His sharp, dry sense of humour was well honed and provided all of his team with countless hours of entertainment. Not just a technocrat of standing but a fun person to be with. I will never forget Peter.
Vale, Peter R A Anderson.

Tansy 🐕 and I will miss Peter very much, it was always a joy to visit with him (and formerly Gwen). A very dear man with lots of stories we shared. Reading that little portion of Psalm 46:10a with Peter the other week on my pendant and in his Bible, “be still and know that I am God” reminded us of God’s perfect care. I was blessed to know both Peter and Gwen and now they are together never to be parted. To Peter’s family, I send you sincere condolences, you were all so very loving and caring and this could be felt whenever you were there.
