Shelley passed away peacefully at Castlemaine Hospital.
Loved daughter of Phil Cay (dec) and Pam Sartori (dec).
Proud Mum of Phil Cay.
Loved sister of Jacqui, Brooke, Dani and Jen.
Much loved Aunty Shell to Tiarnie, Tamieka, Katie, Charlie, Sol, Lewis, Henry and Oscar.
Embraced and loved by many in
the Castlemaine community, and beyond.
With tears we watched you suffer,
we watched you fade away,
our hearts were slowly breaking,
as you fought so hard to stay.
You did not want to leave us,
but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day your Lord called you home…
A service of Thanksgiving for Shelley's life will be held in the Liberty Christian Life Centre,
5 Blanket Gully Road, Campbells Creek on Monday 11th April commencing at 1.30pm.
Following this service the cortege will leave for the Castlemaine Cemetery.
After the burial service you are warmly invited to join us for refreshments in the
Campbells Creek Community Centre.
Shelley was an avid Carlton Footy supporter,
so she would love it if you could wear something with the Carlton Navy Blue colour.
Sending my Sincere condolences to all of Shelley’s family.
I was only thinking of Shelley a couple off weeks ago and wondering what she was up too and then sadly today I’ve seen that Shelley had passed.
One off my last conversations with Shelley was about how she loved going to the footy with Nan Grace.
Now they are reunited and can watch the footy together again. Shelley and I would play together at the footy and we talked about some of those times, as well as Shelley telling me how much she missed her Mum and Nan Grace.
I can see the huge happy smile on your face Shelley as you warmly embrace your Nan Grace, your Mum and all your loved ones in Heaven.
R.I.P. Shelley.

Dear Shelley.
I knew you as a child in your Mum and Dads arms and although a few struggles in your life you grew in to a lovely honest person and had a smile for everyone. My late Wife Wendy and myself would always have time for a yarn when you called in to the secondhand shop where we worked. Reunited with Pam and Phil, Mum and Dad.

I was hoping to catch up with you before you passed but alas life got in the way.
I will miss your pop ins to the shop for a catch up which quite often ended with me having to kick you out because
we would never have stopped talking and I would get no work done.
I will remember you with a smile on my face and a giggle in my heart.
