Victoria Taylor

10th November 1946 - 7th March 2021

Vicky died peacefully at Castlemaine Hospital.

Vicky and I met forty years ago in print workshop in South Melbourne.  From there we were envolved in setting up two
workshops in Carlton and Fitzroy.  We adored the location and hugged in the cafes, pubs and music.

We then moved to Castlemaine continuing or work in this extraordinary town, becoming closely
involved in with the many creative artists in the area.
Vicky created prints with a wide range of subject matter including many portraits of women friends.

As Van Gogh wrote in one of his letters, when die we take a journey to the stars.

Goodbye my love - Paul

A private cremation will be held.

  1. Julie Patey says:

    Dear Paul,
Vicky was a special person who glowed with life and art.
I met her and I was immediately drawn to her energy and she lives in my memories as a very special person after all these years.
I too met Vicky at the print workshop in South Melbourne with Charlie Johnstone.
This was a special time of growth and direction for many of us.
Our busy lives took different directions but she is remembered with great fondness and how much she adored her Paul.
Much love to Paul and Vicky’s family in this sad time.
Be kind and gentle with each other in this difficult time.
    Love, Julie Patey
