Wendy was an extraordinary woman and beautiful soul, who lived life to the full every day and touched the lives of many
in her communities in Heathcote, Melbourne and further afield.
She is dearly missed by her devoted partner Evan, and by her loving family, and many friends and colleagues.
Adored eldest daughter of Pam and Cam Johnstone.
Cherished and loving sister of Chris, Felicity, Genevieve and Anthony, and loved sister in law of Nada, Simon and Kate.
Beloved stepmother of Tarkyn.
Much loved auntie of Lily, Emily, Tom, Archie, Ella, Frankie, Charlie, Pip, Mila and Arpie.
Loved and remembered always.

Yet hope again elastic springs,
Unconquered, though she fell;
Still buoyant are her golden wings,
Still strong to bear us well

Goranka and I meet Wendy about 17 years ago, Goranka got stuck behind their house when it was being trucked in. A bit later I found Zephyr their dog and then meet Evan and Wendy when I returned him. That was the beginning of a decade and a half of dinners and drinks and music and laughs. She was the most wonderful person, and we will miss her so much. Unfair is losing her so early, but she will be with us forever.
Our beautiful Wends,
we will miss your softness and light.
Rest peacefully beautiful girl, until we meet again.
