6th September 1938 - 10th September 2023

 

Wendy passed away at Penhall Hostel, Castlemaine on September 10, 2023 aged 85. 

Much loved mother of Amanda and Michael Wright, 

‘Grandma Wendy Nana’ to Nikola, Olivia, Jamil and Aliyyah, 

mother-in-law to Michael Sarbinowski and Catherine Rush. 

She survived former husbands Courtney Wright and Peter Wallace 

and is missed by former partner Brenda.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend Wendy’s funeral service in St John’s Anglican Church, Fryers Rd, Chewton

on Tuesday 19th September at 1.30pm. After the service we will make our way to Chewton Cemetery. 

Her wake will be at The Taproom, The Mill at 3.45pm.

Dress: colourful. Do check the weather.

Bring a sprig of wattle, some everlasting daisies or eucalyptus leaves if you wish, otherwise no flowers by request.

Wendy’s family send heartfelt thanks to Penhall staff and to Dr Louisa Hope who all went out of their way to care for Wendy.
