It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jan Elizabeth Duff.
Family and friends are invited to join us for Jan's funeral, to be held in the chapel of Mount Alexander Funerals,
12 Campbell Street, Castlemaine on Monday 5th September at 2.00pm.
Following our time in the chapel the cortege will leave for the Guildford Cemetery.

Farewell beautiful Jan.
We chatted recently near the supermarket and I commented on why you weren’t in your mobility scooter.
You commented that you were walking when possible.
Will miss your visits to Vinnies and wonderful sense of style.
Dear constant friend for so many years. Jan’s enjoyment and generosity has been an inspiration.
I am so grateful to have known her, shared Reiki with her, and through her to meet her courageous grandson Jeremy.
To all Jan’s descendants, may your grieving deepen your appreciation of Life and all it can hold.
My family is deeply saddened to hear the news of Jan’s passing.
She has been a delightful neighbour to us for 13 years…..the corners of our properties connected and crowned by the beautiful wisteria she loved so much.
I will miss you greatly, Jan; those incidental meetings in our favourite haunts, your warmth, intelligence and humour.
Thank you for being such a beautiful presence in the world.

Tremendously sad news, what an extraordinary lady, Jan was my first mentor and at a time when I was struggling, her introduction to Buddhism courses at her home with a variety of visiting monks was always amazing. What a life what a spirit, what a wonderful contribution to Castlemaine.
