Beloved mutual friend of Jan Kay, both of you greatly missed, lovingly remembered for all the happy and sad times,
all the journeys, and for all the laughter too.

  3. Lesley Little says:

    Farewell beautiful Jan.
We chatted recently near the supermarket and I commented on why you weren’t in your mobility scooter.
You commented that you were walking when possible.
Will miss your visits to Vinnies and wonderful sense of style.

  4. Solway Nutting says:

Dear constant friend for so many years. Jan’s enjoyment and generosity has been an inspiration.
I am so grateful to have known her, shared Reiki with her, and through her to meet her courageous grandson Jeremy.
To all Jan’s descendants, may your grieving deepen your appreciation of Life and all it can hold.

  5. Kate McGann says:

My family is deeply saddened to hear the news of Jan’s passing.
She has been a delightful neighbour to us for 13 years…..the corners of our properties connected and crowned by the beautiful wisteria she loved so much.
I will miss you greatly, Jan; those incidental meetings in our favourite haunts, your warmth, intelligence and humour.
Thank you for being such a beautiful presence in the world.
Our deepest condolences to Estelle and Jeremy.

  6. John Barker says:

Tremendously sad news, what an extraordinary lady, Jan was my first mentor and at a time when I was struggling, her introduction to Buddhism courses at her home with a variety of visiting monks was always amazing. What a life what a spirit, what a wonderful contribution to Castlemaine.

  7. Penny Lakey says:

A constant loving, caring friend of many years.
Working together in Melbourne in the early sixties, and keeping in touch through good times and bad.
Jan’s insight and humour was such a blessing.
It will be difficult to imagine this world without her courage, energy and optimism.
Deepest sympathy to Samantha, Zeth, Estelle, Fred, her beloved grandchildren and many friends.
    A full and inspiring life.
    Lovely memories Jan.
