Charlie Austin Lightfoot a man we never met but a man we got to know through words only.
A very private man that lived and loved his farm life, set in his ways where routine was everything to him. You may be gone from life but you have left years of memories to so many that love you.
R.I.P. Charlie
My loved brother, you always had a smile for everybody.
Rest In Peace after all those long years in the quarries, You worked hard and loved your family.
A good life long lived.
Comforting thoughts to Heather, Rod, Cheryl and Pam, and families.
Love Jan., Adrian, and Marion and family.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
Gramps you’ll be forever missed, but always in our hearts.
Love Lorne, Olivia, Payton & Sage xxxx
To the Lightfoot Clan,
My memories of Charlie always bring a smile to my face.
A young man in the company of one so wise and practical… with just a hint of mischief.
We are all poorer for his passing, but pass we must.
My memories of Charlie.
The huge aviary at the back of the house in Lake Boga.
So many different birds.
The stone curlew was the one I always remember as it had big eyes and our family has always had a love of birds.

Visiting Great Gran and Gramps is our favourite thing to do – feeding chooks and collecting eggs, picking veggies, eating amazing food and building a massive bonfire (best day ever). We will miss you dearly Great Gramps and all our love to Great Gran who we will take good care of for you.

Remembering my dear big brother Charlie. He was always so kind to me especially when we were little children without our mother. Our times together at Melbourne Orphanage in Brighton from 1939 to 1945 were very happy as we were well cared for and taught so many skills. Our years there were treasured as we went to school together and the pictures on Saturday.
These memories will always remain in a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy to Heather and all the family as you will miss such a kind and caring man so much.
Love from Mai.
We will always remember you with fond memories.
From the Allan mob.
I first met Charlie when we lived in Lake Boga. He became a part of our family when Cheryl married Andrew. A great loss for the extended Lightfoot family.
Our thoughts are with you.
