Deepest sympathy Deborah. Her image will forever live on through you.

  2. Robert Cruikshank says:

I have many fond memories of Christmas holidays at Cooee Bay with my half-sister Delphine and her children Deb, Chris, and Ash. There are many Super 8 movies of us all in the surf and on the beach in the Queensland sun running around having fun.
Delphine was 24 years older than me while Deb, Chris, and Ash, are all around the same age as me and we had so much fun playing and exploring together on the beach at the Cruikshank beach house ‘Cosmos Cottage’ (which has disappeared now but the name ‘Villa Cosmos’ is embedded in the footpath where the house used to stand). Delphine was always there to watch over us and make sure we were safe, but she also knew how to have fun and join in or spend the day sunbaking.
Delphine was a great mother and sister, and she always put the needs of her family first. She was always there to lend a helping hand and offer her support and guidance. She will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we say goodbye to Delphine, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and free from suffering. She will always be in our hearts and memories, and her legacy will live on through the love and kindness she shared with all of us.
Rest in peace, Delphine. You will be forever loved and missed.
