To Ann and family,
You all are in my thoughts, they move from sorrow, to the joy of the conversations that we have had over the years. I cannot remember how many years, but at least back to when you had the food caravan.
My greatest hope is that l can offer you and yours, a level of support close to that Gary gave to me, during Karen’s sickness and after her death. Those memories and memories of Gary have brought tears to my eyes again as l write this.
I will miss my conversations with Gary the Honey Man, at the Wesley Hill Market, on Saturday mornings.
I am sorry l missed having a dig at Gary, after buying some honey and peanut butter from Ricky a few weeks ago. I would have said the service and conversation was much better, from Ricky.
– Joe Henry

To Ann and family, Iam so sorry for your loss. Gary will be greatly missed. The market will no longer be the same without you and your banter, laughter and your dad jokes. Gary the honey man you were an inspiration and a good friend to me. You will always be remembered. It was an honour to have known you.
Wark.
RIP Gary, I have memories of you as a fresh faced lad from Glenroy, working as a butchers apprentice at the butcher shop in Olsen Place Broadmeadows, seems like and is a lifetime ago.
